Price Guide

If you want to catch all that WorldFest has to offer, you have a couple of options.

You can buy individual tickets ($20 for the opening night gala, $5 for matinees, $7.50 for evenings; available approximately an hour before each screening), or you can spring for one of the package deals. A $100 Silver Screen Pass admits one person to all shows, including opening night; a $200 Gold Pass includes all films and the April 20 awards dinner; and a $500 VIP Platinum Pass covers tickets to all screenings, the awards dinner and entree to seminars on writing screenplays, producing the independent feature film, distributing the independent feature film and directing the independent feature film. (A seminar-only pass is also available for $295.)

While the bulk of the movies will be shown at General Cinema Meyerland, Loop 610 West at Beechnut, there will also be a program of shorts and student films Saturday, April 20, at the University of St. Thomas, Sul Ross at Yoakum off Montrose. One 16 millimeter feature, Seeking the Cafe Bob, will also screen at the University of St. Thomas.

WorldFest has been known to have last minute panics and schedule shuffling, so be aware that times and movies are subject to change. For updated information, try the WorldFest offices, 965-9955.
