Robert Olen Butler The Lake Charles, Louisiana-based author pocketed a Pulitzer for his collection of stories A Good Scent from a Good Mountain. Butler reads from his latest novel, The Deep Green Sea, a tragic, erotic love story about the relationship between an American veteran of the Vietnam War and the orphaned daughter of a Vietnamese bar girl, at 7 p.m. Brazos Bookstore, 2421 Bissonnet, 523-0701.
