Paulie's offers inner peace through panini
The Petronellas claim their architectural goal was to create an East Coast, "New Yorky" feel for their urban deli, but despite the artist's loft above and the room's exposed brick, I'd have to disagree. The result is much too Zen-like and unselfconscious for anything modeled on Manhattan. If I could only find the time, I feel certain I could meditate here -- and eventually achieve nirvana.
