Najwa Karam / Ihab Tawfic / Samira Said

Each of these Arabic singers is a superstar in his or her own country. Najwa Karam hails from Lebanon. Ashika, her new CD, is a staple in Arabic clubs both in America and the Levant. Karam's music fuses Spanish, Arabic and dance beats. Cairene Ihab Tawfic brings Egyptian pop music set to a punchy techno Arab beat. His love song, "Titraga Fieh" ("I Beg You"), is a big hit throughout the Arab world. Moroccan Samira Said started out singing rai, but her latest hit, "Layla HaBibi" ("My Lover's Night"), is a monster club hit. The non-Arabic audience can expect a real Middle Eastern song festival in a downtown setting. Be forewarned -- talent like this doesn't come cheap. Tickets start at $65.
