Bowling for Soup

From Wichita Falls via Denton, BFS is one happy punk band. Vocalists/ guitarists Jaret Von Erichead and Christopher Van Malmsteen, along with the rhythm section of Erik Rodham Clinton (bass) and Gary Wiseass (drums), may have started in death metal bands, but gone now is all but the distorted guitar from those days. Now, BFS -- like Spinal Tap -- is all about "having a good time all the time," reflected in their bare-ass, beer-chugging live shows of crisp-n-peppy pop-punk with ska overtones. Far less about attitude than harmless hedonism, this is punk that your parents would dig; that is, if they wouldn't mind getting mooned a time or two.
