K-Otix

When the Press last heard from K-Otix, the local hip-hop trio was scheduled to perform at our star-studded Music Awards Showcase last summer. But in keeping with their reputation for elusiveness, they failed to show. Not that we hold it against them, mind you. K-Otix just may be the closest thing to authentic, inventive hip-hop we have left in this town. And we know just how much they have on their plate. Still out there hyping their first full-length album, the highly praised Universal (Bronx Science), released last fall, the boys have been all over the place putting on live shows to promote themselves and their music. Now, if they can only give their fans back home some of that live love. Show up at their concert this week to see if they'll do the same.
