They've been compared to Limp Bizkit, Red Hot Chili Peppers and 311, but Pasadena's own Faceplant have a bag of their own that flexes rap, rock and funk like steroid-fed high school seniors on the varsity football team. Vocalists Bryan Broussard and Billy Hargrove trade off verses with a quickness that'll bite ears off, Mike Tyson-style. Their current CD, Get Some, will have rockers' heads spinning all the way back to the dawn of rap-rock fusion. Songs like "Bucket O Funk" and "Death Hop" capture their trademark hard-driving guitars and bristly vocals. Not reason enough to head over to the show?
