Although their future as signed, sealed and delivered recording artists is up in the air (the shutdown of Tommy Boy last February left them free agents), it's still a kick to see the first hip-hoppers who proved you could flow on samples from Steely Dan, the Turtles and Hall & Oates. Don't be surprised if you see some big girls in the crowd doing the moving-and-grooving thang. Ever since the trio gave love to all the thick chicks with "Baby Phat," the first single off their recent album AOI: Bionix, the group has found a whole new fan base of hefty mamas. If you like your hip-hop original and your ladies thicker than a banana milk shake, there's no way you can lose.
