In a year when there seems to be more talented, alabaster-skinned MCs (El-P, the Streets) stepping up to the mike than ever, a white rapper officially attempting to give the almighty Marshall Mathers a run for his money -- even if he is some little punk from John Waters country -- is long overdue. With the randy, tongue-in-cheek antics of Cex, you get a wigger playa who seems to take more pride in his suburban heritage than adopting a put-on ghetto stance, a guy who's not ashamed to be from the culs-de-sac rather than the streets.
