Like religion or English beef, professional wrestling requires a leap of faith. Is this sport real? Is this even really a sport? We suggest not thinking about that too much. This weekend, head to Compaq Center, where World Wrestling Entertainment (née Federation) will present Bad Blood, a seven-card event featuring such favorites as Ric Flair and Stone Cold Steve Austin. Chris Jericho and Bill Goldberg will go head-to-head in the main fight. Having faced down in a locker room a few months ago (for real? who knows?), these dudes evoke the rabid interest of fans and geopolitical scholars alike. After all, good offstage fights lead to great in-ring battles.
