If you've ever made fun of your mom's "good" towels or china, you've got a friend in Micah Guillory. Talk it over with him today at lunch at the Brown Bag Gallery Tour at Blaffer Gallery. As part of the 2005 School of Art Master Thesis Exhibition, Guillory's china sculpture examines how cups and plates can be revered, protected and exhibited, but heavens, almost never handled. Guillory will lead the tour with Ché Rickman, a fellow student who assembles art from junk mail, electric wires, foil and wooden branch pieces, pointing out the humor in everyday, human life. All you need is your brown bag lunch. (Just keep your hands off the china, you klutz.) Tour begins at noon at 120 Fine Arts Building, University of Houston, 4800 Calhoun. For information, call 713-743-9530 or visit www.blaffergallery.org. Free.
Kick it with Quebec's Les Ballet Jazz de Montreal at
