Main Street Theater invites Houston to ring in the New Year with champagne, sweets, song and dance. The New Year's Eve Gala begins at 8:30 p.m. with a performance of the Gershwin & Gershwin musical Pardon My English, with a new book by David Ives. After the show, the audience will enjoy champagne and gourmet desserts -- including a fabulous chocolate fountain by Chocolate Fountain Creations -- followed by dancing to the sultry tones of Mood Indigo. $75.
