For more than 40 years, the Chieftainshave taken traditional Irish music (jigs, reels, drinking/sailing songs and, of course, tales of the potato famine) around the world and still found time to collaborate with such artists as Sting, the Stones, Ziggy Marley and Willie Nelson.
