Hate the Day
For the single among us, it sucks watching co-workers and friends get showered with gifts and affection from their sweethearts on Valentine's Day. Luckily, the haters at Hater magazine are offering up an alternative to all that romantic bullshit. "I'm not a fan of Valentine's Day," says editor Monique Crump. "Everyone else gets flowers, and I don't." Hater is throwing the Hate Lover's All Star Gangbangat the Proletariat, where unattached party people can dance away their holiday blues to beats from DJs Cashless, Roo and Dayta. "The night is for the jaded lovers," says Crump. Of course, we all know what drinking and dancing can lead to — that's right, a new romance.
