DJs today have it so easy. With the kind of technology that's available, just about anyone can make a mix effortlessly. But Chicago house DJ Stacy Kiddlearned to spin the old-school way; he spent two years mastering the art of the mix using two cassette players (remember those?) before moving on to the turntable. With nearly two dozen singles and gigs on every continent but Antarctica already under his belt, the Kidd has proved to be successful with his brand of free-loving house music. Today, the hulking house head comes to the Jet Lounge to help celebrate the release of In The House, his new EP on the well-respected British house label Defected.
