Girls, Uninterrupted

It's been a while since Aimee Jones graced the scene with one of her casually hip art shows. And it's too bad, since her events can be as watchable as any American Idol episode and, depending on the subject matter, as sexy as a certain lingerie catalog. Fortunately, Jones is back with "what's up girl?" -- a series of works by the artist and her friend and collaborator Vicki Fowler (another art scene mainstay). The show is a snapshot into the pair's relationship -- both live in the same warehouse under the same leaky roof -- and their separate lives and histories. To tell their stories, Jones and Fowler fashioned a timeline of their existences through mementos, photos, e-mails, music, old letters, new art, old art and more. You'll be able to follow them from cute, grinning youngsters right up to the art mavens they are. They host today's opening reception.
Thu., March 23, 8 p.m.-midnight; March 24-April 23
