With his chin-length mop hair, model good looks and raspy voice, Teddy Geiger seemed the perfect new Keith Partridge on VH1's In Search of the New Partridge Familyin 2004. But just before the show's finale, the 15-year-old bowed out; he'd been scooped by Columbia Records, which recently released his solo debut, Underage Thinking. Now Geiger, 17, is touring in support of his album of sweet, glossy acoustic pop ballads, which have drawn comparisons to the sound of John Mayer. When this charming young man hits the stage today at the Meridian, the female shrieks will be deafening. Dirtie Blonde opens the show.
