How's this for cred? 50 Cent, Janet Jackson and P. Diddy have all worked with members of Break! The Urban Funk Spectacular, which the Society for the Performing Arts brings back to H-town today. The ensemble includes veterans of the legendary break "battles" of Harlem, Brooklyn and beyond, making for a potent blend of street moves that Kevin Federline can only dream about. The performance will include funk, hip-hop and soul deejaying, with bucket drumming, tumbling, spinning (like, on their heads) and the good old "electric boogaloo." This all translates into a gravity-defying display that will make you feel either exhilarated or really out of shape.
