Folks in the gay club scene idolize Madonna, sure, but there's at least one DJ in the circuit that couldn't care less. Dubbed "The God of the Circuit World," New York City DJ, producer and sought-after pop-remixer Junior Vasquez is most famously known for his 1996 feud with Madge, which started when she no-showed at one of his gigs. What followed was his single "If Madonna Calls," which contains vocal snippets of a message left by Her Madgesty on Vasquez's answering machine. Vasquez plays his first ever Texas gig today. And while there'll be a fair share of authorized and unauthorized remixed pop singles, the absence of Madonna hits is what really makes Vasquez's set so unique. Things get heated at 9 p.m.
