The next time you think of cracking on adolescent drama geeks, consider this: Tom Hanks and Angelina Jolie got their start acting in high school productions. With that in mind, today's Tommy Tune Awards are worth checking out. Each year, Theatre Under the Stars christens the best and brightest in local high school theater. Much like the Tonys, the event names the Best Actor and Best Actress, Best Musical, Best Set Design and more. As you watch young starlets receive their awards, you can catch musical performances, and there will be a sweeping grand finale featuring two students from each participating school.
