Read much? You're in luck: The Friends of the Houston Public Library's 28th annual Bargain Book Salehas more than 90,000 tomes for you to sift through. The event, a fund-raiser for the public libraries in Houston, requires four semi trucks to haul in all its cookbooks, encyclopedias, rare editions and best-selling favorites. Though most books are priced under $2, today's visitors can take home a full bag for only $10.
Sat., May 6, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sun., May 7, 12-4 p.m.
