Take in comedian Paul Mooney's standup act, and one day you can tell your kids that you saw the man who crafted material for Richard Pryor and Dave Chappelle. Sure, most of us know Mooney as Negrodamus from Chappelle's Show. But history will show that he might have been the most influential comedic writer since, well, ever. Mooney is in Houston pushing his new DVD Know Your History: Jesus Is Black and So Was Cleopatra.Be ready for liberal, if nonstop, use of the N-bomb, and "no you didn't" examinations of race in America. Example: "What's Jew-ish?" he asks. "You're not black-ish. You black." Mooney rises at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. today through Saturday, June 24.
