Numismatists of Houston, rejoice. The JMV Coin and Currency Show is landing in town today, making it the best opportunity to get your hands on rare and special gold doubloons. (Johnny Depp never had it so easy.) The show will feature coins of all metals — both ancient and modern — for buying, selling and trading. There's also a drawing for a $100 shopping spree. Shop and browse, and show off your own collection of coinage. And in case you're worried about your precious treasure, relax. The show will have armed guards on site. Now that's our kind of trade show. Things go ka-chingfrom 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
