What does a man who has written and voiced more than 2,100 episodes of his nationally syndicated public radio program The Engines of Our Ingenuity do in his spare time? Well, when he's not lecturing at colleges, writing textbooks, developing his Web site or researching thermal sciences and cultural history, the University of Houston's own Dr. John Lienhard works on museum exhibits.

Lienhard's latest exhibit, "Ghost in the Books: Echoes of Old Voices from the Books That Made America," showcases the "lives" of historic books and their owners. For example, Benjamin Franklin's copy of Experiments and Observations Made in America at Philadelphiawas owned and contains notes by electric motor inventor Michael Faraday. See other haunted books from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
