Tony Award-nominated Side Show is local boy Kent Arnesons first U.S. production with his newly formed company Arneson Productions. The musical, based on the true story of Siamese twins Violet and Daisy Hilton, who became stars during the Depression, is a portrait of two women whose extraordinary bondage brings them but also denies them love. The show follows the sisters from England to the American vaudeville circuit and eventually to Hollywood on the eve of their appearance in the 1932 movie Freaks. Haley Dyes and Natalie Arneson star as the twins. Working with Arneson, who stage-managed the UK version of the play, are director Ginger Lackey and music director Art Yelton.
