Comic John DiResta may have been in chick flicks Miss Congeniality and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, but his most recent performances definitely have a male audience in mind. DiResta, ex-cop and former star of the UPN sitcom DiResta,is currently on two television shows — Hammered with John and Jimmy DiResta (Jimmy builds things while John adds the comic relief) on HGTV, and American Body Shop, about the world of car repairs, which premiered recently on Comedy Central. We don’t think his stand-up has any hammer or carburetor jokes in it, but we could be wrong.
