Experience Ruddygore, one of Gilbert and Sullivan’s less famous, but still uproariously funny, works. The parody of Victorian melodrama tells the story of the Baronets of Ruddygore, a family who have been cursed by a witch -- a very creative witch, it seems, because the curse requires every Lord of Ruddygore to commit a crime a day or die an agonizing death. Love, laughs, elaborate disguises and terrific music make for a great show.
