Jesper Børjesson Holm and Hasse Mydtskov, the Denmark duo behind The Spy in the Mes, will have you wishing their homeland wasn’t so far away once you hear their quirky, danceable pop rock. Audience favorites include “SmallBlondeFreakyMother,” a polka-infused rock dance ditty sure to get anyone with legs out on the dance floor. The guys change it up with tunes such as the soft acoustic love song “Coffee Mornings” and the punchy punk number “Lasso Road Show.” They’ll perform these and other tunes when The Spy in Mes play along with their Danish tour mates Plök and Houston’s Over Sea, Under Stone, Sew What, Indian Jenny and DJ Taffee.
