Breejock’s Multimedia Event (Chapter 1) is an overload for your eyes and ears. The event will feature art, body art demonstrations, music and a fashion show. Local designer 45 Flowers will showcase her line of fall dresses. “[She] is influenced by the art of Egon Schiele, Sigmar Polke and Julian Schnabel, along with graffiti,” says Breejock. “The collection is all about the dress: sexy dresses, baby-doll dresses and wrap dresses.” Breejock used to be a graffiti artist himself, and he’s still inspired by the urban art form. These days he sticks to the canvas; today he will display a number of his pieces that combine elements of graffiti and collage. Also adding to the view, local group ABC Bodyart will pre-sent live demonstrations of their work. (Read: they’re painting on naked people.) And Breejock will spin the sounds of jazz, funk and noise.
