Jackie Flynn

What’s the difference between an idiot and an imbecile?

More About

“A lot of things annoy me,” comedian and curmudgeon Jackie Flynn says in a thick Boston accent. So it’s no surprise that the bulk of his stand-up material deals with all the things that piss him off. His many annoyances include e-mail (“If phones were invented after computers, nobody would use e-mail”) and microwavable cheeseburgers (which “have just enough beef to qualify as a hamburger”). The list goes on to include people who clap when a plane lands, futons and even dialing 4-1-1. You may have seen Flynn in bit parts in several Farrelly brothers films (the duo discovered the comic actor), as well as on King of Queens and the Miller Lite “Men of the Round Table” commercials. Flynn will tell you the difference between “morons, idiots and imbeciles.”
Sept. 5-6, 8:30 p.m.; Sept. 7-8, 8 & 10:30 p.m.
