“Fall” by Dominic Walsh Dance Theater

The progressive ballet company celebrates birthday six

Six years is a long time to survive the mean streets of contemporary ballet, but the Dominic Walsh Dance Theater isn’t just staying alive, it’s thriving. And to celebrate its big number six birthday, Walsh and his dancers are performing “Fall,” a fabulous (and free) concert of some of the company’s more recent favorites. Walsh’s own whimsical I Napoletani, set to Neapolitan folk music, is on the bill, along with Lindsey McGill’s Adorning Breath, danced to music by Radiohead and accompanied by video. Eric Morelli’s Funabula, set to Vivaldi, along with other works by Walsh, make for a complete night of progressive ballet that will thrill dance lovers.
Fri., Sept. 7, 8 p.m.; Sat., Sept. 8, 8 p.m.
