Barber of Seville

Opera to Go! presents Figaro and his friends

Does your ten-year-old hum Verdi? Does your toddler nap to Bach? Then you’ll love the Opera to Go! production of The Barber of Seville. An offshoot of Houston Grand Opera, Opera to Go! is aimed at kids. Sung in English and lasting just 45 minutes, performances are entertaining, engaging and (here’s the good part) free. The Barber of Seville features Figaro, a brave soul who tries to help his friend, the noble Count Almaviva, rescue the beautiful Rosina from grumpy Bartolo. So, take your tyke, pack up your preteen and head over to Miller Outdoor Theatre to see Figaro, Figaro, Figaro!
