Tom Turkey will take to the skies over downtown Houston today for the 58th annual H–E–B Holiday Parade. In addition to the dozens of floats, hot air balloons, marching bands, cheerleaders, costumed characters and homeless screaming guys, this year brings a “Circus Celebration” theme. That means wagons, animals and magicians will join the trek along the 20–block parade route. 9 a.m. Minute Maid Park, Hamilton Street and Texas Avenue. For information, call 713–654-8808 or visit www.hebparade.com. Free; reserved seats $13 to $21.
