Just in time for Thanksgiving, A Touring Taste of Dance Salad Festival 2007 reminds us of the advantage of leftovers: You can pick out the best parts. The film features the tastiest bits from the festival, including the now world-renowned performance by Russia’s Bolshoi Ballet’s star dancer, Natalia Osipova, which London’s International Herald Tribune said “sent the usually staid British audiences into a standing, shouting ovation and created ecstasy among the sometimes finicky critics.” Osipova’s solo will be featured alongside clips from other tippy-toed talent, including Italy’s Compagnia Aterballetto, The Netherlands’ Kylián Foundation and Korea’s Kim Eun Hee Dance Company. Those who missed out can see what they, well, missed, and others can feed their anticipation for next year’s festival in March with plenty of past pliés, pirouettes, promenades and pointy toes. 6:30 p.m. Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, 1001 Bissonnet.
