Stew, chili, chicken and dumplings, roast, and potatoes — these are some of the dishes Saint Arnold Brewing Company is suggesting culinary wizards create for its One Pot Showdown today. The cook-off contest has only one stipulation: The recipe has to include one of Saint Arnold’s famous brews.
We’re got a few suggestions of our own: Why not simmer some animelles de moutons frites, a French dish made from sheep testicles, in a stew of Saint Arnold Winter Stout? Or whip up some káu-bah, the Taiwanese variation of dog meat, with a splash of Saint Arnold Brown Ale? Get crazy, people, and make the judges feel like they’re the ones being tested.
