Tatsuya Nakatani is the baddest thing to hit the 26,000-person burg of Easton, Pennsylvania since the town on the Delaware River was a Prohibition Era nightclub refuge. Nakatani, born in Osaka, Japan, has set up a recording studio and record label in Easton, which has pumped out a sizable slice of the 50-plus albums hes released in the last ten years. Who is this stranger whos set up shop in the little Pennsylvania town? Nakatani is an experimental percussionist who creates his own drum kits, bowls, trinkets, bells, sticks and bows (probably generating a large file of noise complaints in the Northampton County Sheriffs Office) for a truly one-of-a-kind sound. See which noisemakers he brings to Houston today at 7 p.m. Super Happy Fun Land, 3801 Polk. For information, call 713-880-2100 or visit www.superhappyfunland.com. $5.
