Today, African Americans celebrate Juneteenth as an anniversary of emancipation, and kids can join the fun at the Childrens Museum of Houstons Juneteenth Celebration. Activities include performances, ice-cream making and arts projects. 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday. Through June 19. 1500 Binz.
