Christopher TitusThe comedian and former sitcom star finds humor in domestic disorderBy Dusti RhodesPublished on July 09, 2008 at 1:41amChristopher Titus is a guys guy. We dont mean to sound sexist, but the comedians brand of humor seems to play better to aging frat boy types. You might remember him from his now-defunct sitcom, Titus, which mainly focused on his relationship with his abusive father. The show was almost a direct staging of Tituss stand-up, which makes light of his dad beating him as well as Titus beating his girlfriend (hey, she hit him first, okay?). Titus also explains how running out of Ramen is a surefire sign you need to move back in with the dad who beat you, not to mention the reason you beat your girlfriend. 8 and 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday; 7:30 p.m. Sunday. The Improv, 7620 Katy Freeway. For tickets and information, call 713-333-8800 or visit www.improvhouston.com. $22 to $25.
