The Summer Sin Party

Dare Ware heats up Houston with a night of scantily clad shenanigans

By Dusti Rhodes

Published on July 17, 2008

We’re guessing the Houston heat will be no match for the hotness brewing at The Summer Sin Party. The festivities will be sponsored by local fetish clothing boutique Dare Ware (read: babes in bikinis and dog collars will be in abundance). Headlining a night full of DJs, dancers and debauchery will be local Calla Doll. The blond, blue-eyed bombshell’s performances incorporate ballet, belly dancing and burlesque and include such props as a five-foot bubble. She’ll share the stage with her friend Krissy, a burlesque -brunette.

After seeing Calla and Krissy, you might want to do some couple dancing of your own. A handful of DJs including Nate B and Enum from Austin’s Black Tie Beats and DJ Phealan and NITRO from Houston will be on hand to move every body — scantily clad or not — throughout the night. The party kinks…er, kicks off at 9 p.m. Warehouse Live, 813 St. Emanuel. For tickets and information, call 713-225-5483 or visit www.warehouselive.com. $8 to $25.
