More About

“Windows & Mirrors” is a homecoming for Houston-born, now Portland-based artist Dr. Marcus Miller. The show reflects his education and experiences in internal and naturopathic medicine. His monotype prints and paintings depict bodies with an unearthly feel that sometimes appear as a mixture of human and animal. The “Ascension Series” features multiple prints of a floating, angel-like creature, each with different colors and shading. The opening reception is from 6 to 8 p.m. today. Regular viewing hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays. Through August 14. Bering & James, 805 Rhode Place, suite 500. For information, call 713-524-0101 or visit www.beringandjames.com. Free.
Mondays-Saturdays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Starts: July 19. Continues through Aug. 14, 2008
