MC Chris is dropping into Houston fresh off the Warped Tour. You might recognize the actor/comedian/producer/rhymesayer’s high-pitched hip-hop flows from earlier seasons of Aqua Teen Hunger Force. MC Chris (aka Chris Ward) was the voice of rapping characters such as MC Pee Pants and Super Sir Loin on the Adult Swim series. His speedy delivery combined with his chipmunk-esque voice might have you shaking in fits of laughter, but his well-crafted MIDI beats and wordsmith talents will ensure you’re laughing with him, not at him. It’s no joke: MC Chris got skills. Reggie and the Full Effect, Leathermouth and Warship are also on the bill. 7 p.m. Warehouse Live, 813 St. Emanuel. For tickets and information, call 713-225-5483 or visit www.warehouselive.com. $15.
