More About

The chase for One-Eyed Willy’s treasure is back on the big screen — we’re talking, of course, about The Goonies. The film follows a group of misfit kids — Mikey, Data, Mouth and the truffle-shuffling Chunk — on their quest to find an ancient pirate treasure. The timing couldn’t be better as wealthy land developers are planning to turn the Goonies’ neighborhood into a golf course. But before the Goonies can save their home from becoming 18 holes, they’ll have to outsmart the evil Fratelli family, a Baby Ruth-addicted monster, booby traps and Mikey’s bossy older brother. See which one proves most difficult at 11:55 p.m. Friday and Saturday. River Oaks Theatre, 2009 West Gray. For information, call 713-866-8881 or visit www.landmark-theatres.com. $6.50 to $9.50.
