Tired of the same old, same old for Halloween? Kick it up a few notches at the Noche de Brujas, Noche de Torturas (Witches' Night, an Evening of Torture). The performers (we think that's the right word) of Constructs of Ritual Evolution (CoRE) will present The Mourning Star, a reenactment of the fall and rise of the ruler of hell, and showcasing full-body suspensions - organizers tell us, "It's like Cirque du Soleil, but on hooks!" Music will be provided by Morgue City. 9 p.m. Numbers Nightclub, 300 Westheimer. For information, call 713-526-6551 or visit www.numbers-night-club.com. $10 to $13.
