Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal returns with a wedding and a circus. The internationally acclaimed dance company makes its third trip to Houston for two Bayou City premieres. Celis puts his own contemporary twist on the widely redone ballet, which chronicles a Russian peasant wedding. The costuming hints at the past, with all 24 dancers in whiteface, with the girls wearing tulle and cloth braids and the boys sporting black suits.
