Totally Teens Book Club: Breaking Dawn

Web exclusive

There’s been plenty of buzz about Stephenie Meyer’s vampire love story, the Twilight series, chronicling the doomed love between Bella (a human) and Edward (a vampire). The final installment, Breaking Dawn, was released last August to much hoopla (think midnight release parties and crushes of teen readers fighting for the first copy). The film version of the first book is out November 21, but fans can get a prerelease Bella and Edward fix today at the Totally Teens Book Club discussion of Breaking Dawn. As the story comes to a close, Bella is faced with making the ultimate sacrifice for the ones she loves. Young fans can debate the series’s end (some readers were less than happy) and speculate on the upcoming film. 2 p.m. Meyer Neighborhood Library, 5005 West Bellfort. For information, call 832-393-1840 or visit www.houstonlibrary.org. Free.
