Walk on the Wild Side Tour: “Canines of the World” is a revealing look at life in the doghouse. (Well, many of the species are actually just relatives of man’s best friend, but you get the idea.) The tour is led by animal keepers and the Houston Zoo’s own pack of Anatolian Shepherds. As attendees are led from habitat to habitat, they’ll learn about the diets, lifestyles and habits of the swift fox, African wild dogs, maned wolves and more. 9 a.m. Houston Zoo, 1513 N. MacGregor. For tickets and information, call 713-533-6713 or visit www.houstonzoo.org. $25 to $35.
