The whole family will enjoy a Christmas from yesteryear at Home for the Holidays at Old Town Spring. Join in today’s Wine and Art Walk or enjoy strolling musicians as they perform Christmas carols. Horse-drawn carriages will provide tours of the town’s colorfully decorated vintage buildings. See some history at the Old Town Spring Museum and the Civil War Museum, take a spin on the ice rink, wander through the area’s dozens of art galleries or ride the historic train. Of course, Santa stands at the ready to hear every kid’s secret wish list. You might even have a bit of time left over to do a little shopping — the town’s 150 clustered shops should make short work of your Christmas list. Time varies per attraction. Through December 28. 123-F Midway, Spring. For information, call 800-OLD-TOWN or visit www.oldtownspring.com. Free.
