More About

What’s so special about Santa? Sure, there’s that delivering-Christmas-gifts-all-around-the-world bit, but really, he’s just a fat guy in a red suit, right? Well, at least that’s the way the snowman in Santa’s Polar Blast 4D feels. To settle the score, the snowman concocts a secret plan to take over Santa’s Village and steal Christmas. But Santa, jolly or not, doesn’t give up without a fight. Pretty soon the North Pole is the site of an epic — and hilarious — battle, and you’re right in the middle of it. With the 4D film, you see everything in 3D, but according to the scene you’re watching, you’ll also feel bursts of cold air, smell pine or gingerbread and even get a bit of a misting from the snowfall. The animated film screens at 2, 3 and 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, with additional screenings at 5 and 6 p.m. Thursdays, 10:30 a.m., 12:30, 1:30, 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. Saturdays, and 12:30, 1:30, 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. Sundays. The Health Museum, 1515 Hermann Drive. For information, call 713-521-1515 or visit www.thehealthmuseum.org. $4.
Starts: Dec. 4. Daily, 2008
