Musical funnyman Billy D. Washington was once a Houston policeman. He traded his badge (and likely doughnuts — zing!) for a sense of humor and a keyboard. The decision earned him a three-year-touring stint with Aretha Franklin, plus spots on The Late, Late Show and Last Comic Standing. Washington performs at 8 p.m. today, 8 and 10:30 p.m. tomorrow and 7, 9 and 10:45 p.m. Saturday. Laff Stop, 526 Waugh. For tickets and information, call 713-524-2333 or visit www.laff-stop.com.
