Have a young filmmaker on your hands? Make sure she gets to today’s Teen Film Festival Editing Session. Laptops are provided for kids ages 13 to 18 who are working on short films and videos. There will also be a few techno-savvy grownups around to help answer any “How do I…” questions. More editing sessions are scheduled over the next two months leading up to the festival’s February submission deadline. Teens will screen their work during the festival in March, competing in eight categories. 3 p.m. Central Library, 500 McKinney. For information, call 832-393-1521 or visit www.houstonlibrary.org. Free.
